If you haven’t heard of the movie version of Atlas Shrugged, go watch the trailer right now. It opens in select theaters across the country today, and I’m really excited about it.

After 10 years of trying to read the book, I finally finished it about a month ago.  Since then, I’ve noticed the eerie similarities between the book and current events.

It seems that I’m not the only one. FreedomWorks put together a mashup of footage from recent years and the movie. Try to see if you can tell where reality ends and Rand’s dystopian future begins.

Also, if you’ve read the book, take the quiz to see if it’s a real sound bite or a line from the novel. It’s harder than you think. Even though I’m a news junkie and just finished the novel, I only scored a 75.
